4 DAY SCHOOL WEEK

On March 26th, 2009, the School Board voted to support the recommendation of the Superintendent to move to a 4 day school week beginning this fall (2009).   On April 23, the Minnesota Department of Education approved the application.   This decision was based on the knowledge that Ogilvie could reduce costs while expanding opportunities for students.  Below are links to several documents that have been used in committee discussions and public meetings (3) to outline plans, advantages, and areas of concern.   For questions, please contact Ed Harris at 272.5075.  Note...  These documents are formatted in Office 2007. Documents are in PDF, Excel and HTML format.
