Earlier in July, Ogilvie High School trap team students competed in the High School National Championship Shoot hosted in Mason, Michigan. Although the team did not advance to the finals, they performed well and had a great experience! Hunter P. shot a personal best with a score of 97/100. Three of the students also competed in the individual competitions.

Later in the weekend competition, Hunter shot a 92 in the final round on Sunday. 22-23-24-23 was his record each round. On Saturday, he placed 144 out of 1718 trap shooters, with a score of 98. 25-25-24-24
