Female Athletes Complete Weightlifting Program
A five week weightlifting program was once again available this summer to HS girls.
The goals of the program, led by Certified Athletic Trainer Jill Bednar, were to improve physical and mental strength, increase team cohesiveness, encouragement to get outside their comfort zone in the weight room, and try new things daily to make physical and mental gains. There were 20 participants throughout the five week program who showed up early each morning to enhance their sport performance!
Great job athletes on completing the program and making fitness improvements!
